Is there any problem or maintenance issue of the Lammps website ? It’s showing that "503 service unavailable " whenever trying to access http://lammps.sandia.gov/ .

and you might try to clear your browser cache.

I’m also trying to access the lammps website but last 4-5 days it’s showing that 503 service unavailable, failed to connect to server lammps.sandia.gov. I have tried by clearing my browser cache from different system of our institute, IIT Kharagpur but the problem persists.
So it’s a request to all who are from India, can you please check ?

I can ask the Sandia web site admins to check if your
machine is blacklisted (happens sometimes), but Sandia
is closed for the holidays, so nothing can be done until
around Jan 6th. Also you need to send the URL of your
domain.

before going this far, i would recommend to have a very careful look
at the HTTP error message to determine whether it is the sandia web
server or perhaps a local proxy web server or similar (most campuses
and ISPs have these) that is producing the 503 code.
normally, if the sandia webservers block access due to abuse, you get
a "too many requests" type of error message.
one should note that around this time of the year - due to christmas
vacation - many websites run with a minimal maintenance, but there are
lots of people around that don't know what to do with their time...
