Large density fluctuations due to Coulomb interaction

I am a new lammps user, I hope you can answer my question.

I am trying to find the density distribution for a liquid solid interface. When I only used lj/cut command, I was able to see well known layering and a constant density distributions in my profiles. However, if I use lj/cut/coul/cut command without changing anything, I see intense fluctuations in my density profiles, no distinct layering and no bulk density. I would expect to get same density profile with lj/cut because there is no charge in the system.

Do you have any idea why I get this type of density? I am eager to your solutions and suggestions

the only logical explanation is, that you *did* change something, but
are not aware of it.

Do you have any idea why I get this type of density? I am eager to your
solutions and suggestions

nobody here has any psychic reading ability and can tell you things
about simulations about we know nothing.
