Dear LAMMPS users ,

I want to calculate RDF for a quasi two dimensional system .

My system is 3D but it’s z is very low ( ~ 10 A ) so I was wondering if i can calculate lateral-RDF for that ?

I will be grateful if you can help me about it .

No, there would need to be a xy version of compute rdf (or a flag to turn

off the z dimension), for that to work. If your system were true 2d

(dimension 2), then compute rdf would work fine as-is b/c all the z coords

would be 0.0.

Indeed, it even takes care of the proper normalization.
