Dear lammps expert,
I would like to know how the “cut of radius” is applied to the Lennard Jones potential function. Does lammps just cut the potential function at any specific distance of rc and therefore creates a breaking point in the function OR lammps softens the lennard jones potential toward zero value continuously and quickly after this value?!
