Hi Materials Project team,
I am currently experiencing a reproducible issue with the Materials Project web interface.
The homepage loads normally. However, when I click Materials, Apps, Materials Explorer, or directly navigate to a material URL such as:
https://next-gen.materialsproject.org/materials/mp-149
the browser URL changes correctly, but the displayed page remains stuck on the Materials Project homepage.
I have already tested:

Multiple computers

Multiple browsers
-
Private/incognito mode
-
Different networks and IP addresses
-
Mobile hotspot
-
Logged-in and logged-out states
-
Cleared browser cache/site data
The behavior remains identical.
The browser Console does not show red JavaScript errors. It only shows some yellow browser tracking-prevention warnings.
Importantly, the Materials Project API is accessible from the same machine.

{"status":"OK","version":"0.87.3.dev11+ga5415ca70","pymatgen":"2026.8.30","db_version":"2026.04.13","suffix":"blue"}
Therefore, the API/backend appears reachable, while navigation in the Next-Gen website frontend does not render the target page.
Could you please check whether there is an issue with the current frontend deployment, routing, CDN, or recent identifier-system website update?
