I installed mpich2 on my lap top,but when I run the faced with error
"error while connecting to host,no connection could be made because
the target machine actively refused it. <10061>
connect on sock <host=LENOVO, port=8676> failed, exhaused all end points
unable to connect to LENOVO:8676,
sock error: Error = -1"
I run with these commands and in which one of them I faced with the
same above error:
mpiexex.exe -np 2 -localonly lmp_win_mpi.exe -in ionicdata.in
mpiexex.exe -np 2 -local lmp_win_mpi.exe -in ionicdata.in
mpiexex.exe -n 2 -localonly lmp_win_mpi.exe -in ionicdata.in
mpiexex.exe -n 2 lmp_win_mpi.exe -in ionicdata.in
mpiexex.exe -np 2 lenovo lmp_win_mpi.exe -in ionicdata.in
mpiexex.exe -np 2 g510 lmp_win_mpi.exe -in ionicdata.in

this is an MPICH issue, not a LAMMPS problem. read the MPICH
documentation, specifically the parts pertaining to windows and if you
still have problems, please ask in an MPICH mailing list or forum.
