NERSC postdoc job opening: LAMMPS optimization for next-generation GPUs

The NERSC HPC facility is hiring a postdoc to increase LAMMPS performance on next-generation GPU hardware. The position will involve optimizing important force kernels in LAMMPS (such as the EAM and SNAP potentials) to take advantage of the latest NVIDIA GPU hardware on the NERSC Perlmutter HPC platform. You can apply for the position at: https://lbl.referrals.selectminds.com/jobs/nersc-exascale-science-applications-postdoctoral-fellow-nesap-1316. NERSC is located on the campus of the DOE Berkeley Lab. The position is open to non-U.S. citizens and requires the ability to work productively even in the presence of spectacular views of the San Francisco bay. Feel free to contact me (Aidan) if you have questions and also let me know if you apply.
