No AtC examples in lammps-doc from lammps's RPM repository

Hello lammps users,

I'm currently using pre-built lammps binaries (how comfortable is having a lammps parallel executable ready-to-go in 1 minute with most of the packages? Thanks) on Fedora 20. Everything works well, but it looks like the "example" directory is somehow incomplete: there is no "atc" directory in /usr/share/lammps/examples/USER/.

AtC user package is installed though, I've just built an example that works fine. There might be other user packages-related examples missing in lammps-doc sub-package.

Not sure which binary package you are using,

but the download page gives the names of who
maintains them, so I suggest you shoot an email
to that person, asking for examples/USER/* to be
included.

You can always download the full tarball from
the LAMMPS web site, and grab the example files
from it. Those files do not change often.

thanks for the praise. you are the perfect kind of customer for the rpms.

yes. this is a deliberate choice. those examples contain very large
files. this applies to other examples with large files as well.
at the moment, you have to download the LAMMPS source to obtain those
examples. i currently don't have the time, but at some point in time,
i could consider a bigex subpackage that only contains the large
examples.
