No charge density on Te site in Ni3TeO6

I was looking at the charge density of Ni3TeO6 (mp-19448) obtained from MP and I realized that there is absolutely no charge at the Te sites. Is this because of the choice of the chosen Te potential? Based on the VASP potential page, I assume that it has a valency of 6, which means that it can’t reach an oxidation state larger than +6. Perhaps the oxidation state should be above +6 and but electrons cannot be taken from the core potential?
Thank you for any insight about this.
