nonaparticle rotation

Hi all,

I am researching on the structure and some properties of nanoprticles. The simulation results show that the nanoparticle rotates rapidly and deforms into spindle shape. How can I solve it?

Thank you for any help or suggestion.

Best,

Help us help you…what is your nanoparticle composed of? What potential(s) do you use to pull the constituents together?

sounds like a variation of the "flying icecube syndome".
what kind of thermostat, if any, are you using?

you should make sure that there are no residual
translational or rotational momenta on the particles.

axel.

Axel gave a good pointer.

Did you rescale your velocities ?
