NVIDIA graphics card install

Hi All,

This is not related directly to lammps but I thought people in this community must have tried it. I have recently got a thinkpad laptop with NVIDIA Quadro K2000M graphics card on it. I am trying

to configure it on fedora 17. The kernel I was using is kernel-3.3.4-5. The precedure I tried is the following. Downloaded the respective driver from nvidia web site and installed. Installation was successfull. But when I rebooted the machine it hung at some point.

Has anybody tied to do this. It would be much appreciated if you can share your knowledge regarding this.

I appologize for putting this irrelevant query in this forum.

Kind regards

Bhaskar

it *is* irrelevant, so i doubt that anybody will answer.

there are a *ton* of forums on GPUs, there are forums for fedora,
there are forums at nvidia.
posting to *any* of those will result in an an infinitely higher
chance to get a meaningful response.
