Older version of Materials Project database

Hello, currently, I’m researching about computational chemistry and machine learning for inorganic materials.

How could I get the older versions (ex. pre-2015) of Materials Project database? I want to get structure files and whether the data have experimental ICSD-tag in the older version.

The Materials API(MAPI) does not seems to be possible to query data from the database of older version…

I would appreciate it if you could give me answers for that. Thanks for the help!

Hi @joshua-416,

Unfortunately, we don’t have versioned snapshots of the MP database. The experimental ICSD-tag is a recent incorporation post-2019. It was only possible because of a recent change by the ICSD where they started categorizing their records as experimental or theoretical.
