I totally understand the documentation and the correlation between a1, d1, a2 and d2.
The third part of your answer is the hint I was missing! The radius is defined in the pair coefficients.
I just used:
set type 1 diameter 0.02 density 1.2 (or via read data) but totally missed to change the pair coefficients.

You are right, I got the code of you. I’m not using it up to now, but I think it will be useful the next days, when adding interactions with some kind of walls. Probably I will contact you again when I am on this.
