pair_style command

Dear Friends

I want to use pair_style table command but there is the following error. Would you please help me?

Error:Pair table parameters did not set N

I set N as the following:

pair_style hybrid/overlay lj/charmm/coul/long 8 10 lj/cut/coul/long 8 10 morse 15 table linear 2801 coul/long 15

Are you sure you had no other lines in the file before these?
The first non-comment, non-blank line is the start of the table.
Also what does R -28 28 mean? A distance of -28 makes
no sense.
