Poly-disperse spheroids using atom_style atomic?

In the example on the movies page: “Poly-disperse spheroids for diffusion and viscosity”

It uses the atom_style sphere, but does not assign a radius to the particles, but instead controls the size by the LJ cutoff.

Could this same model be run/converted to use the atom_style atomic?

Thanks,
Frank

No, fix srd requires that “big” particles have a torque. It bypasses the “normal” pair style processing for the “solvent” particles.

If fix srd is removed, then atom_style atomic would be fine?

Then nothing would move the type 4 atoms and taking those away would remove your solvent.
