Pop_frequency has related with effective phonon frequency?

Dear Alex and kind users,

I have a stupid question: in the calculation of dielectric constants and phonon frequency, typing “amset phonon-frequency”, amset tells me the effective frequency and corresponding weight. What is the relationship between this effective phonon frequency and pop_frequency in the POP scattering_type? As a fact, the pop_frequency is the highest optical phonon frequency at the Gamma point. Could you please give me some suggestions? I want to involve the POP in my calculation.
Thanks a lot!

Best wishes,
Zhibin

after typing: “amset phonon-frequency”, I got the info like this:

The effective frequency is pop_frequency. I will update the phonon-frequency tool to update the name.

Dear Alex,

You are very generous and kind! Thank you very much!
