Possibility of getting a more concise log file when doing minimization

Dear lammps users,

I need to do minimization inside a loop that runs for thousands of times. Each minimization saves some information inside the log file which are not important form.

My problem is that I have thousands of minimizations and this causes the log file to become very large. I was wondering if there is a way to suppress the output of minimization in the log file or maybe make the output more brief.

There is an “echo” command which will suppress some info in the log file.

We’d have to look at adding a min_modify option to suppress more of

the numerical output.
