A possible, minor bug: Take mp-22862 (NaCl) for example. I download the VASP selection. It saves on my PC (Win 10, Firefox) as “Material” without an extension. 7zip had no problem extracting the Archive, with all the correct files, but shouldn’t it have a file extension? .zip, .tar, etc. I feel like it needs something to make clear that it’s an archive, especially for beginners.
Thanks for pointing out this issue. It should be solved now.
The Chrome browser correctly parses the filename as “Material Files.zip”, but Firefox appears to have an issue with the space in the filename, causing it to present the filename “Material” to you. Website development is done using Chrome, so quirks causing differences in e.g. Firefox or Safari might slip through testing. The filename now contains so spaces, and correctly has a “.zip” extension in both Firefox and Chrome.
