Postdoctoral Openings at Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences, Oak Ridge National Laboratory

Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately in the
Macromolecular Nanomaterials Group at the Center for Nanophase
Materials Sciences at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL),
focusing on theory and simulation of dynamics and rheology of
dynamically-bonded polymers [e.g. Nature Materials 10, 14-27 (2011)],
in collaboration with the synthetic chemists and experimental polymer
physicists in the same group as well as the scientists from the
Spallation Neutron Source and the Computer Science and Mathematics
Division at ORNL.

Interested candidates should have a solid background in
theory/simulation of soft materials. The appointments will initially
be for 24 months with a possibility of an extension of up to 12
months. The details about the two openings can be viewed at the ORNL
careers website under the titles Postdoctoral Research Associate –

Does LAMMPS get a finders fee?

Um, LAMMPS gets the opportunity to expand its user base and increase
its citations

I know these emails are in jest, but I do want
to say that we welcome anyone posting to the
list with job opportunities of any flavor (academic,
industry, lab, etc)

It’s great for the LAMMPS community
to hear about possible jobs
they have qualifications for …

Steve

This is the way your future Lammps foundation should go Steve: Cloud services for the software, specialized packages, job posting database, training, etc…

PS: Humorous comment above thus do not overwork too much your brain while composing a reply (if any)
