Postdoctoral Position in Computational Research at the Army Research Laboratory, Maryland, U.S. (UNCLASSIFIED)

The Army Research Laboratory is currently recruiting Ph.D. scientists in
computational materials science with experience in multi-scale simulations
applicable to polymers, bio-macromolecules and nano-composite materials.
Opportunities exist for development of methods and models for atomistic and
particle-based coarse-grained simulations, and their application in
atomistic-to-mesoscale simulations of materials of interest to the
Department of Defense. Experience with LAMMPS is desirable, but not
necessary.

Positions are open at the postdoctoral level and are not restricted to US
Citizens.

Salary is commensurate with experience and skills, and is very competitive
with industry. Publication and patenting of research results are encouraged.
Excellent opportunities exist for interactions with other government
laboratories and university researchers.

Positions are available at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Aberdeen Proving
Ground is only 30 minutes North of Baltimore, and offers easy access to
Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and New York City.
