problem compling with reax

Post to the list, not to me.
Can you run the examples in examples/reax?
Please post your input script.

Steve

The examples I try to run is the RDX and the CHO examples that come with the code, but I get:

ERROR: Invalid pair style (force.cpp168)

The compilation in reax (make -f Makefile.gfortran) and in src proceed without errors, only the warning:

read_data.cpp:990: warning: deprected conversion from string constant to 'char*'.

additional info:

The examples I try to run is the RDX and the CHO examples that come with the code, but I get:

ERROR: Invalid pair style (force.cpp168)

this would happen if you did not install the REAX
or the USER-REAXC package, depending on which
one was used in the specific example.

The compilation in reax (make -f Makefile.gfortran) and in src proceed without errors, only the warning:

read_data.cpp:990: warning: deprected conversion from string constant to ‘char*’.

the very point about installable packages in LAMMPS
is that you can add or remove them transparently without
having to change anything else manually. thus you won’t
get a compilation failure, if you don’t install a package,
you only get the error at run time.

cheers,
axel.

If you do

% lmp_foo --h

do you see reax listed in the pair styles?

If not, then you didn't build with it.
If so, what is your pair_style line in your input script?
