Question!!nlocal variable in cpp src files

Nlocal parameter in cpp files!!!

Hi Dear LAMMPS Users!

I want to change a file and I can’t understand a nlocal variable that use in some cpp files

I want to know what is the nlocal parameter? For example, you can see this variable in atom.cpp or fix_wall_reflect.cpp ,fix_wall_lj126 , fix_wall_lj93 , … files.

Thanks a lot from your attention.

nlocal is the number of atom that are owned by the current domain. In contrast to ntotal (all atoms) or nghost (atoms owned by neighboring domains within cutoff plus skin distance).
