question on "fix move" command

I’d like to move of “some group” every 10 steps.
However, it seems that “fix move” doesn’t have “every time” argument.
Is there any method for it?

Can I assign the value of “step” (in-built variable) to certain user-defined variable?
Can I use mod(that is %) operator in LAMMPS?
I’d like to use something like “if(mystep%10) then…” command.

Thanks for your answer in advance.

not without changing the code.

what would be the benefit of doing this
over having a more continuous motion
and the same total speed.

that would only work using run with "every" and then displace_atoms.
but, again, the question really is what is the benefit of not moving
for 9 steps and then jumping over having a continuous move?
if it were a much longer period, i could think of a use, but 10 steps
are "nothingness" in terms of simulations.
