Hi,
I was simulating friction between two asperities with different crystal orientations. For the same velocity of one of the asperity, but with different crystal orientations, I come across to observe a significant difference in the travel distance of the asperity.
Could you suggest the reason for this difference.

Saurav

you were asking how you would be doing a simulation

most likely a mistake in your input,
but how should we be able to tell?
