Regarding on heat output by using Nose-Hoover thermostat

Dear Steven,

I am now doing some simulations on friction. The point I am concerned is that how much heat is produced in friction. I am now using Nose-Hoover thermostat to keep the temperature. As we known, by using this method, there is a infinite thermal reservoir outside to exchange the heat with system. So, I am wondering can LAMMPS output the heat exchange between the system and virtual thermal reservoir? Thanks so much.

yes, the fix stores the cummulative energy change as a scalar
vaue which can be accessed - see the fix nvt doc page, near
the bottom, for details.
