i can't speak for ubuntu builds, but the rpm builds are up-to-date
until the release of the KOKKOS package.
that would be ~may 27 2014, IIRC.
rpm builds have been suspended since i was traveling and am
teaching.courses and didn't have time to adapt the build scripts to
skip the KOKKOS package in the rpms, while christian trott is working
on resolving portability issues based on some workaround code i sent
him.
