Rerun simulation after nth time step

Dear lammpsusers,

I have run a simulation for n timesteps and obtained the results but now I want to rerun the simulation from n+1 timestep. I dont want to waste my time in running again n timesteps

Is there any way ?

have you heard/read about using restarts and what they are good for?

Hello!

Can you cut the last frame in dump file (.xyz for the formation or the last timestep if you use write_data) and use it initial data to continue run your simulation?
