Running 2 fixes simultaneously

Dear all,

Can I run two fixes simultaneously?

My requirements is to move a set of atoms in a line while moving perpendicular to its traveling direction.

I really appreciate your comments.

Thank you.

Dear all,

Can I run two fixes simultaneously?

sure. just read the documentation and
have a look at the examples. many use
multiple fix commands.

perpendicular to its traveling direction.

huh??

Dear axel,
Thanks a lot for your reply.

Can you specifically name one example?

If I explain bit more about my requirement, please assume that I have a box and I want to move it forward while moving back and forth to its perpendicular direction of motion.
I think I can use following fixes.

  • "fix move " to indicate the forward motion.
-“fix wiggle” can be used to represent the “perpendicular motion”

Currently I’m struggling . to combine these two motion at once.
I appreciate your suggestions.

the examples folder is full of them.
please make an effort. i don't have
the time to spoonfeed people.

struggling in which way?

please post a (as simple as possible) example.
i cannot read minds (of people or computers), and
it is very difficult to argue about things hypothetically.

the situation is simple. if you follow the manual,
it should work. since it doesn't, you must be
doing something wrong. but if we don't see it,
nobody can tell what.
