Hello,
The atoms are not the same from frame to frame. In my model ,at first ,only the surface atoms have a heat source.So the atoms’ kinetic energy will increase and they will leave from the copper surface.Then the atoms will not have the heat source any more . So other atoms which on the surface of copper now have the heat source. However, now the surface of copper is irregular, it is a crater.The crater is changing with time,so I wonder if there is a command can let the heat source always on the surface of crater .
