Dear all,
I would like to try the sputter example that I see mentioned here and there (there is even a YouTube video showing the result), however it doesn’t show up in my examples folder. I installed Lammps on Windows as well with the same result, and the source code on Git does not include in.sputter either. Can I find it somewhere?

I know of no in.sputter example in the LAMMPS distro.

I don’t recognize that model or movie. Possibly it is some adaptation
of a script in examples/deposit, e.g. a bigger version of in.deposit.atom.

this example input was in LAMMPS-ICMS (in thus for a while in the windows and rpm packages) but never made it into upstream, mostly because it doesn’t show anything significantly new. if you feel it is worth adding, it is a no-brainer to file a pull request to include it.

If it runs quickly (< 1 minute) like the other examples
it would be fine. It could go in examples/deposit
if it uses fix deposit.
