Status of the SNAP potential (automatically generate many-body interatomic potentials for various systems by one common approach)

Dear LAMMPS developers,

I noted that Aidan mentioned in am email (2013) that the SNAP potential will be released soon. I hope to know the status of the potential and the possible date for the potential to be available. I am also very interesting to know how many atoms type can be used for the new potential.
