Dear OpenKIM members,
I am wondering if anyone is using the KIM_LINK=dynamic-link option of the kim-api packge build system? (The default setting is KIM_LINK=dynamic-load.)
I'm not aware of anyone who is using this option and if that is the case, I would prefer to remove it from the build system. This would simplify the maintenance of the build scripts.
If you are using this option or see a good reason to retain the option, please reply to this message and let me know your thoughts. If I don't receive any/sufficient requests for keeping the option, I will plan to remove this option before the next minor release of the kim-api package (expected in January, 2017)...
