I am working with efields and want to know what kind of statistics the thermo package might produce out of the box.
In particular, polarization is interesting. The center of mass of positive versus negative charges with respect to the direction of the e field.

for the most part LAMMPS provides primitives to do statistical analysis and
what you can use them for is often only limited by your imagination. please
have a closer look at the manual and the contained examples. there are
*far* too many things that you could compute through the various compute
commands and variable expression formulae to list them here.
