Thermostat for aspherical particles in the presence of electric field

Dear users,

I have a query regarding using the thermostat for ellipsoids having given dipole moments in the presence of an electric field. I am using gayberne and lj/cut/dipole/cut pair_style with fix efield. Then I use fix nve/asphere for integration. I tried dpd/tstat, but it doesn’t keep the temperature constant. I think its just because of dealing only translational degree of freedom in the dpd/tstat.

Could you suggest me the appropriate thermostat for the given system?
