Dear lammps developers,

I am unable to download the following papers from lammps.sandia.gov/publication.please any body help me

1). C. L. Phillips and P. S. Crozier, J Chem Phys, 131, 074701:1-11 (2009).

2). G. J. Wagner, R. E. Jones, J. A. Templeton, and M. L. Parks, Special Issue of Computer Methods and Applied Mechanics, 197, 3351-3365 (2008).

3). J. A. Zimmerman, E. B. Webb III, J. J. Hoyt, R. E. Jones, P. A. Klein, and D. J. Bammann, Special Issue of Modelling and Simulation in Materials Science and Engineering, 12, S319 (2004)

The publication page gives the citation, it does’t
have links to the papers (just the abstract). Go to
the journal web site to download them, and you’ll
need access to the journal.

Dear Balu

You are bringing up an important political issue which goes beyond
the scope of the LAMMPS community: Scientific papers should be freely
available. They are not.

The problem is not limited to non-western countries. My own work
has, at times, been delayed because of it.

In your cease, because these papers are more than 5 years old, I
suspect you should be able to download them from JSTOR (www.jstor.org,
I don't know if the service is available outside the US)
http://about.jstor.org/download/file/fid/1423
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JSTOR#Increasing_public_access

For newer content, generally speaking, I am hoping that people at
your institution may be a good source of advice how to get around
these barriers.
