Updated Windows version of LAMMPS?

Dear LAMMPS developers,

Is it possible that you could update the Windows versions of LAMMPS on your webpage? There have been some updates since December that would have been very nice for my students to be able to run, also on a Windows machine. (Most of them run Windows, unfortunately.)

Thank you so much for your help - it is very much appreciated.

Sincerely,
Christer H. Ersland.

Paul - can you help out this prof's unfortunate students who
are chained to Windows boxes?

Paul - can you help out this prof's unfortunate students who
are chained to Windows boxes?

i think it is more that they chain themselves voluntarily.

i just went through a couple of examples of that.
if you throw a linux cluster into the mix, you can
have some _very_ interesting experiences, like
lammps commands suddenly failing, because
there were (hidden) ^M in the command text.

lesson: if you are supporting lammps users that
use a windows laptop to edit files on a linux cluster,
better get to know how to read the output of hexdump.

cheers,
    axel.

Axel: Yes, I've had a _lot_ of fun with the (hidden) ^M characters during this course, since most students do testing and debugging on their (Windows) machines before starting the final simulations on a unix supercomputer... The problem is that many/most people (unfortunately) use Windows, and we can't require that they start using unix just for this course.

On the plus side: we are usually able to convert some students into using unix, writing in TeX etc. every semester. The revolution happens slowly!

Done.

Thank you very much sir…
