Dear All;

I want to include charmm2lammps.pl into a small tool I am writing. Since it is part of the LAMMPS repository, I would like to know how to acknowledge properly.

So far, I thought using a GLPv3 license in my code and mentioning in a README file that charmm2lammps.pl was taken from LAMMPS should be good enough, but just want to make sure.

that sounds fine - thanks for asking. The authors of

the charmm2lammps.pl tool are noted in its README,

if not in the Perl script. You should acknowledge those

folks as well.
