Hi all ,
I initially had LAMMPS installed via Homebrew, but then realized that some of the features were not going through and I experienced some errors while running the simulations, so I completely removed LAMMPS that was installed via home-brew from my machine and tried to reinstalled it using a USER-MISC package by referring to the lammps documents, but due to the large number of files available in lammps software package, I got lost and all the attempts failed. So could someone kindly let me know to properly install lammps via USER-MISC Package please.

detailed configuration and compilation instructions are given in
chapter 2 of the LAMMPS manual:

they are as specific and complete as they need to be.
if you have trouble understanding the descriptions given there, it
will not be possible to explain it better to you via e-mail.
especially not with extremely unspecific problem descriptions of "i
got lost" and "all the attempts failed". you'll have a much better
chance to find somebody local, that has some experience in compiling
software in general, to help you learn the parts about compiling
software that you are missing or do it for you.
