Using an Existing Fix output in a new Fix

Hi Lammps community,

I’m trying to write a new fix in which I need to use the data generated by “fix ave/spatial” for a specific slab, e.g. I want to get data of the 3rd slab and save it to file. I’d really appreciate any hint.

See the doc page for fix ave/spatial. It tells you how it formats its ouput,
so it can be accessed by other commands, including a new fix you would
write.
