Hi LAMMPS users,

I want to calculate the viscosity of my system but I don’t understand how the viscosity fix works. Can someone explain me better how this fix works?

not in an e-mail. there is the documentation. there is an example in
example/VISCOSITY.
showing 4 different ways to compute viscosity with fix viscosity being
one of them (using the mueller-plathe method). there are papers and
text books explaining this and the other methods.

thus please read, experiment, read again, update your knowledge of
statistical mechanics (if needed), experiment again, read some more,
understand, and come back, if you still have questions.
