visualize dipole moments via VMD

Hi Dear Axel

Hope you are fine,

Can I use TopoTools in the Vmd plugin for the visualization of dipolar particles?

Does TopoTools have the ability to visualize the dipolar moments or not?

Thanks for any suggestion

Hi Dear Axel

Hope you are fine,

Can I use TopoTools in the Vmd plugin for the visualization of dipolar
particles?

no.

Does TopoTools have the ability to visualize the dipolar moments or not?

this is a superfluous question. does it say anywhere it can?
it is bounded by the very same limitations as any other
method to import coordinates in VMD has.

you had asked before and i had told you before that the
only way i know how to visualize dipoles in VMD is via
the molfile plugin reader using the LAMMPSDIPOLE2ATOMS
environment variable, which would convert dipoles into two
atoms with a distance apart according to the scaling factor
given through that environment variable.

i had explicitly told you this before and it is in the quoted
e-mail conversion below. why would you assume that i
would not tell you if topotools supports dipolar particles?

Thanks for any suggestion

i already gave you my suggestion.
please take it or leave it, but don't bother
asking me about other options, since i
don't know any, no matter how many
more times you will ask.

thanks for your understanding,
     axel.

So sorry to bother you.

I apologize for inconvenience.

I will take your suggestion and I will do my best to solve it.

Thanks very much
