What Sigma in " pair_style colloid" means ?

What Sigma in " pair_style colloid" means ? and from where to get it and How I can assign it for specific colloids ?

It means what the doc page says it means
and it references the Everaers paper which
describes it further. Setting it to 1 is usually
a good choice. Assuming the colloid itself
is much larger.
