Assistant Professor at the Advanced Materials Group, Department of Control Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague (Czech Republic). I am involved in the ab-initio investigation of nanostructured materials for applications in the field of tribology, optics, electronics and energy harvesting/saving. I developed the lattice-dynamic metric “cophonicity” able to capture the electro-vibrational coupling and to guide the design of new materials.
