Dear MATSCI community,
I’d like to share with you a three-years postdoc position opening at CSIRO in Perth, Australia in Molecular Simulation of Mineral Carbonation Reactions. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help sharing this position within your team and your connections.
The detail of this position and application link is here. Applications Close in two weeks’ time (18 September 2023, 11:00pm AEST)
This position is part of the recently launched CarbonLock Future Science Platform, Carbon Mineralisation working package. As a newly launched research centre, there are lots of opportunities for research and collaborations. The research funding is adequate, plus learning and development training opportunities for ECRs. This project will be closely collaborated with experimentalists in our team working on micro-scale understanding of mineral replacement reactions (using synchrotron based techniques very often), so we can validate our modelling results by combining with experimental studies. Our computing resources are based at Pawsey Supercomputer Centre and NCI in Canberra, which provide us enough HPC resources for the modelling.
Feel free to email me ([email protected]) if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Yuan
