About press control when using fix rigid

Hi,

I would like to study a nanoparticle interacting with lipid membrane. I use the fix rigid/nve command to deal with the nanparticle composed of 660 point particles. The nanoparticle is above the membrane.

I want to use the fix press/berendsen to control the press of the system. I want to know it is reasonable not to rescale the position of nanoparticle?

It seems that " fix 40 all press/berendsen x 0.98665 0.98665 1000 y 0.98665 0.98665 1000 z 0.98665 0.98665 1000 couple xy modulus 16667 " and " fix 40 mem_water press/berendsen x 0.98665 0.98665 1000 y 0.98665 0.98665 1000 z 0.98665 0.98665 1000 couple xy modulus 16667 dilate partial" lead to different lx ly lz values.

Since the commands do different things (with and without dilate partial),
why shouldn't they give different results?
