About the calculation of Green strain

Dear all,
I saw the calculation of strain in Atomic strain — OVITO User Manual 3.12.4 documentation and the formula of Green strain. However,I don’t know how to output the value of the Green strain by Ovito, or in other words, I don’t know which variable represents it.

By default, OVITO outputs the Volumetric and the Shear strain as particle properties:

If you check the “Output strain tensors” option of the modifier you will get the full strain tensor for each particle as particle property as well:

These can be used for color coding, subsequent calculations, or exported directly.

Please forgive my ignorance, which variable is Green strain? Or are they all.

The Strain Tensor is the atomic Green-Lagrangian strain tensor, while Volumetric and Shear Strain are the von Mises local shear invariant and the hydrostatic strain measure.

There are many strain tensors here, but I read a paper(Redirecting). I don’t quite understand why this author only uses one numerical value to measure the contribution of different structures to plastic deformation.
