Adjust View

In adjust view, how to change/enter values of XYZ in ‘Up direction (read-only)’ as desired?
The values change as we rotate using orbit camera option.

Currently, this is something that can only be done through the Python interface of OVITO Pro – by assigning a value to the viewport’s camera_up field. You cannot do it by hand in OVITO Basic.

We’ll try to make this work in the future.

That being said, if you need to orient your model relative to the virtual camera (or vice versa), you can rotate the model using the Rotate tool found in the main toolbar or by applying the Affine Transformation modifier.

The new OVITO 3.10.4 now provides way to numerically control the “up” direction in the GUI - through the camera roll angle:
