Are there any plans for a new stable release?

I was testing the SumCalculator earlier today and noticed there were some bugs when ASE was asked to compute the stress on the unit cell with M3GNet and DFT-D4 dispersion calculators (an issue raised elsewhere on this forum). It looks like the SumCalculator that I have in my conda env is substantially different from the master branch on Gitlab. Are there any plans to release a new stable version (the last one was v3.22.1 in Dec 2021!) or should I grab the version from the repo directly?

People are working toward a release and a lot of progress has been made on some key maintenance issues. There is not a predicted date for the next release, I would recommend installing from the repo for now.
