Area of Nanorod

I have a nanorod containing different facets and want to calculate area of it, can somebody suggest how can I calculate it?

what "area" are you asking about?

please note that for atomic scale systems, terms like surface or
volume are not as cleanly defined as in macroscopic objects. so you
will have to make some assumptions/approximations to determine your
desired "area" property. in the most extreme case you'd have a single
atom, but what is the "size" or "area" or "surface" of a single atom?
