Bug with Material Project Query using two wildcards

Hello,

I noticed some issues today while using the Material Projects API to query for compounds of the formula A2B2O7. In both the API and website search bar, searching *2*2O7 to find all compounds that fit this criteria only 9 results will be returned rather than the ~600 compounds on MP that fit this criteria

This can quickly be shown to have some associated problem becaue searching for Ca2*2O7 shows that there are in fact Ca2B2O7 compounds that are being excluded from the original search using two wildcards

Am I using the correct syntax for this type of search are there unresolved bugs in the search function?
